About us

Who we are, and what we actually do

BMT Treatment India is a patient-facilitation service. We are not a hospital and not a healthcare provider — we connect international patients to accredited Indian transplant units and stay with them from the first report to the flight home.

What we do

One job: getting you a real answer, quickly

Families researching a bone marrow transplant abroad face the same problem everywhere. Hospital websites publish brochures rather than prices. Enquiry forms disappear. It is almost impossible to compare two units on anything that matters clinically.

We do a narrow thing well. We take your diagnosis and recent investigations, put them in front of senior haemato-oncologists at accredited transplant units, and come back to you with a clinical opinion and a written cost estimate — usually inside 48 hours, always at no charge to you.

If more than one unit would suit your case, we get you more than one assessment so you can compare. If a transplant is not indicated, we tell you that too.

What we are not

The limits, stated plainly

  • We are not a hospital. We do not employ doctors, we do not give medical advice and we do not treat anyone.
  • We do not diagnose. Only the treating transplant physician can confirm whether transplantation is appropriate for a given patient.
  • We do not take your money. You pay the hospital directly, on their invoice, at their published tariff.
  • We do not own the hospitals. We work with accredited units and will say when a different centre suits your case better.
How we work

Five steps, and what each one costs you

Nothing is charged to the patient at any stage. Our costs are met by the hospitals through their international patient departments.

01

You send the reports

Diagnosis, recent blood counts, marrow reports, treatment history. Photographs of printed reports are fine — no translation or certification needed.

No charge
02

A specialist reviews them

A senior haemato-oncologist assesses whether a transplant is indicated, which type applies and what work-up is still missing.

No charge
03

You get a written estimate

A hospital estimate stating exactly what is included and what is not, so you can budget rather than guess.

No charge
04

Visa and travel

The hospital issues a visa invitation letter. We help with attendant visas, airport transfers, interpreters and long-stay accommodation.

No charge
05

Treatment and follow-up

You pay the hospital directly. After discharge, follow-up continues by teleconsultation with the transplant team once you are home.

Our standards

What we hold ourselves to

Accredited units only

We introduce patients to JCI- or NABH-accredited hospitals operating a dedicated transplant ward — not to general oncology floors.

Written estimates, not verbal ones

Every quotation comes from the hospital in writing, with inclusions and exclusions stated, so there are no surprises on the final bill.

No invented testimonials

We publish patient accounts only with written consent from the patient, or a parent for a child. We do not write them ourselves.

Honest about outcomes

There is no single success rate for transplantation. We will not quote you one, and we will tell you when a published average does not apply to your case.

No pressure

We do not chase, and we do not use scarcity tactics on families making a decision this serious. You contact us when you are ready.

Your data stays yours

Medical reports are shared only with the transplant units you ask us to approach, and only for the purpose of obtaining an opinion.
